Anna Betrician-Felician was a local woman of Armenian origin, who held a great influence in the city of Merzifon. She joined the Girls’ School faculty in 1871 as a teacher and counselor and proved to be a powerful presence, patiently and persistently bridging the cultural gap between Armenian and American women who coexisted on campus for half a century.
