Theano Tyriki, an 1931 alumna, dedicated herself to her service as a librarian for many years. Taking on the difficult task of restoring the collection, which had been decimated during the German Occupation, Tyriki showed infinite perseverance and insight. With the assistance of alumni and friends of Anatolia, she managed to recover lost books and re-enrich the library, which soon reached a collection of ten thousand volumes.
