Alumna & Staff
Lusaper Dorikian was the first alumna (1903) of the nursing training program of the hospital operating within the Anatolia Merzifon campus. She and the few women who followed her to the hospital made free visits to the homes of families in need around Merzifon and traveled to other towns across the region to give presentations on proper hygiene and patient care. Lusaper Dorikian lost her life in 1915, along with thirteen other women, part of the local staff, during a raid by the Turks on the Anatolia facilities.
