Jean Johnston, aiming to elevate the College, undertook the modernization of the library into its new and larger spaces in the Kyridis Building. Besides increasing the number of books to over thirteen thousand and the number of periodical subscriptions, she formed a committee of educators to upgrade the library&#8217;s content and organization.
